Letter of Recommendation for Michael Thur
First of all, I wish to inform the staff members and executives of Elite Services
and Sicily Travel just how much we enjoyed the tour of Sicily you arranged for us. The
choice of ancient sites, English-speaking guides, restaurants and hotels were, to a one, excellent choices.
But much of our pleasure (even fun) on the trip was due to the wonderful driver
your agency assigned to us. Michael T. is a delightful young man. Young, both enthusiastic as well as knowledgeable about his wonderful homeland, Michael made the, sometimes three hours drives between archaeological sites interesting, informative, even entertaining. His English is excellent. His language proficiency is such that we amused each other with teaching American slang terms to him and his teaching Sicilian slang terms to us. His recommendations for things to do and restaurants in which to eat during our “free times” during the tour were universally excellent.
If we ever spend another holiday in Sicily, we will contact your agency and request that you assign Michael Thur to be our driver once again. But, by that time, I feel sure you will have promoted him to a guide or tour organizer, he is just that good.
